Emigration Court Apartments, Phase 1

The development represents the first Transit Oriented Development approved by Salt Lake City since the construction of the TRAX light rail system, which links downtown Salt Lake to the University of Utah. A 228- unit mixed income multifamily housing project with underground parking, the project will consist of a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Approximately 50 percent of the units are low income housing units, renting for people at or below 60 percent of area median income. The fourth floor of units will rent to residents who earn on average 80 percent or less of area median income. The top two floors will be market-rate housing.
